Supplier Audits

Organisations have for a very long time now been trying to avoid the cost and time implications associated with Supplier Audits to establish suitability of Suppliers to provide raw materials required.

The ability and knowledge to ensure timely follow ups on Suppliers determined as having deviations is not always available and that is where TAI steps in. We conduct cost effective, and incisive Supplier Audits that are capable of informing you (Procurer) of your true risks when conducting business with a Supplier. We also possess the experience, skills and knowledge that enable us to advise (at your request) your Suppliers on how to meet the acceptable Standards and/or Requirements.

Responsible Sourcing/Sustainability

Responsible sourcing which promotes the enhancement of sustainable Environmental activities, acceptable Social practices and ethical Governance matters (ESG) has become a crucial buzzword in any serious business today.

Investors and businesses alike have become very conscious of the need to ensure that their Organizational business practices do not have a negative impact on the physical Environment in which they operate. The Fair and just treatment of employees and personnel has also come under sharp focus with recent scandals that have involved multi-national companies implicated in child labour and/or unfair labour practices, while Governance has become another crucial area to concentrate on due to the increased corrupt actions of persons in power globally resulting in the loss of billions of revenue. The TAI Team can assist you in auditing your Suppliers against your own Organizational criteria developed internally (2ND party) Audits, or in the selection of a more suitable, globally accepted ESG Audit programme which can be used to demonstrate an Organisations’ capability to meet and report on ESG requirements. TAI is well positioned to facilitate the implementation and audit readiness of such a globally accepted ESG Standard.

Non-Food Standards

TAI is made up of multifaceted Industry Professionals who are Lead Auditors, System Implementers and Trainers in various other Standards that are non-food related. TAI is therefore able to provide all the above-mentioned services, including training in standards such as ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems).

Training

TAI Trainers are all industry experts in their own right and Shedi Masendeke, a qualified Food Science and Technology graduate was an approved FSSC 22000, V5.1 Lead Auditor Course Trainer for a Certification Body having conducted Training within South Africa and Morocco. The other Training Associates of TAI are active Lead Auditors in their respective industries of expertise and therefore provide training that is up to date and relevant in terms of reference to industry trends and developments.
